Driver seat comfortable

Wow! That’s extreme. I’m so sorry you had that problem. It really takes the joy out of an otherwise great car. I’m still using a cushion and am rarely in the car for more than 10-20 minutes at a time. Did the dealer offer any information regarding this issue?

Other than the dead of winter (I need my 'seater heater!) I have to use a cushion also. Driver's seat is way too hard!

I started another thread before I discovered this one. I just got a 2022 GV80 and am having the exact issue you are describing. The bottom seat cushion feels like there is a bar or hard bump under the buttocks and after 5 min it starts to cause discomfort. I used the seat controls to try and deflate and lower the seat cushion but it still feels like the air bladder is protruding through the seat cushion. I am guessing it is the ergo seat because the passenger and rear seats don't have this bump and they are comfy. I am bringing it in to Genesis service next week to have it checked out, maybe its the ergo seat bladders not rescinding fully? maybe missing padding? I am concerned! I love this car! but what is up with uncomfy drivers seat???!!!

Please let me know if you find a solution. I’m using a seat pad, but annoyed it is necessary.

When I let the car set the seat to my anatomically "correct" position it felt very weird. Went on a 4 hr trip and started to get antsy 2 hrs in (in my normal seat position) so i went to the anatomical position and it felt nice and 2 hours later I was still feeling great. Was very interesting.

The driver side seat of my 2022 GV80 Advanced + is so uncomfortable that I'm considering trading. There's a ridge the rides between my butt cheeks, & I feel the "2 stones" when I shift to find a comfortable position. I'm exhausted after 30 minutes of driving because of it.

Have you deflated the seat cushion as much as possible? The small button that controls the thigh extension also controls the seat cushion. Pushing that button forward and back controls the thigh extension and pushing it up and down controls the seat cushions firmness. It won't make it the most comfortable car seat but it makes a very noticeable difference and for me it went from really uncomfortable to acceptable.

I had it blown all the way up thinking it would be softer, but I was wrong. When I deflated it, it felt much better. I came from a Audi and that seat was really bad.

I did discover the expandable bladderswas able to blow up the seat. The seat isn't any less hard however it mitigated the butt crack ridge. Thanks!

Thanks that just helped while sitting in my car. Just got mu GV 80 3 days ago. Love it, except the drivers seat. Drive for work so I am in my car all day. Wow, drivers seat is hard like a rock just crazy. Thanks for the help.

How to we get Hyundai to fix the problem, with a recall?
