Just got notification for a 1000 mile check. Can't find in owners manual where that early of a check up is required. Has anyone else gotten that message and do you know what they do?

Getting the same message on my GV70 with less than 1000 miles, but since I got the monthly vehicle "health report" email saying all is well with no service recommended, I'm ignoring the notification.

Yeah, got the health report too and had decided like you to ignore....and quite coincidently moments after ur reply showed up my phone rang and it was from dealership where we bought the car (far away from me) saying 1000 mile alert was showing.. so I quess I'm going to call dealership closer to me and inquire. Will keep u posted and ask u to do the same...that is to any new info u acquire

Hey, I just got a service needed E-mail from my Hyundai dealer for an oil change on my new GV70. My GV70 only has 1800 miles on it and 5 months of ownership. The owner's manual says the first oil change is due at 12 months or 8000 miles whichever comes first. What gives? Is this a national problem?

I see GV80 owners are experiencing the same problem. Apparently Genesis USA doesn't have a clue.

I called and SD said it was not an oil change notice but this notification is for a maintenance check...more of courtesy visit to go over any questions you have and in person tutorial for features that you are having trouble with.

The E-mail sends you to the Genesis Web site that in the first window says "Factory-Recommended Maintenance is Due" Sounds to me more than a maintenance check, etc. The E-mail subject title reads, "David, It's time for important maintenance."

Maybe they should reword their announcements, don't you think?
