Emergency spare tire

Very surprised my GV80 Prestige has no spare tire or jack kit. Can’t find a light temporary wheel for a 22” tire to keep in car if needed for a road trip. Anyone else looking for or finding one?

I too was looking for a donut spare for my Prestige, but after having a sideway failure on another vehicle and having to use the donut spare 300 miles from home, decided not to pursue one for my GV80. However, I have the complete parts list for one, which is attached.
Hello. Thank you fir your response, but, I’m not sure I understand what you are saying. Are you saying you had one (a donut spare) previously on a different car and used it but did not like it?

And are you saying there IS such an item as Spare kit that actually fits in the GV 80 Prestoge

Thank you!
Yes, I had a donut for my G80 and was stranded 300 miles from home because I could only drive 50 mph for 50 miles at a time. Subsequently, I equipped my G80 with a full-size spare, which fit into the spare tire well. Apparently, a full-size spare will not fit in the GV80 well.
Sorry for my incomplete response. The estimate that I posted is for the complete GV80 donut spare and fits in the Prestige wheel well in the "trunk."

I recently bought a GV80 and solved the spare problem by ordering one from EZSpareWheel.com. I tested it out on the car and it works great. It fits in the storage area if you remove the plastic tub. You will need to also get a lug wrench, scissor jack, and a bolt to secure the spare in the storage area. The wheel is bright red.

Coincidentally, I was just looking at that tire on EBay. Is it the 20” wheel? 175/70R20”? Can you take a photo showing how it fits? Also, what happens when you put the cargo cover back on? I’m assuming the GV80s that have a spare have some sort of plastic cargo tray that installs over the tire, and then the top cover goes over that to create the floor of the hatch.

I found a part number for the tray, but can’t seem to find how to buy it. 85750-T6100-4x. I wonder if you don’t use the stock 19” spare, will the tray fit over the tire?

You can get a 175/70 R20 tire from EzSpareWheel.com for $379 + $45 shipping. The wheel is designed to be mounted on vehicles with Brembo style calipers. I now have the 21 Prestige GV80. There is a storage compartment with a large plastic tray. THE TRAY HAS TO COME OUT IN ORDER TO SITUATE THE SPARE WHEEL/TIRE. With the tire mounted, there is about an inch space above where the floor panel is located. So, the tire takes up the cargo tray space. For me, I don't mind at all. I hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing the EzSpareWheel.com information. This sounds like a good (but pricey) solution to the no-spare problem.

The EZSpareWheel website makes clear that they promise that the spare will fit on the GV80 wheel but they do not know whether the spare will fit in the storage space. (See the specific website language below.**)

— Would you mind sharing a picture of the EZSpareWheel spare situated in your vehicle?

— Also, did you buy the changing kit with the jack and lug wrench, and does all of that fit in your GV80, too?

Thank you in advance for helping with the information.
