In Europe there seems to have been a press event in Germany recently for initial test drives etc. And today (12th May) seems to be the day on which the press embargo on the event was lifted, so there are several new reviews today on YouTube and various UK magazines like Autocar. Not sure about other countries.

If you search in google (or in YouTube directly) for Genesis GV60 videos you can find a lot of GV60 driving videos from an event in Frankfurt Germany end of April or beginning of May. Many are in German, but there are also some in English from UK Youtubers and UK press.

Here are a couple other GV60 reviews I've seen.

Car and Driver

Tackle a few bends, and the GV60 corners securely and has a liveliness borne of its quick steering. An electronic limited-slip differential in back keeps power flowing to both sides of the road, and the front-to-rear torque split lends a rear-drive attitude. The harder you push, though, the more you're made aware of the estimated 4900-pound curb weight as the Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires begin to audibly protest. A regen system that's capable of one-pedal driving keeps the brakes from feeling much stress. Body control is good. The handling is Porsche Macan-like, except the Genesis doesn't futz with downshifts and upshifts—it just goes.

The GV60 may share its batteries and motors with mainstream Hyundai and Kia products, but it's to the Genesis' benefit, not detriment—even if we wish the GV60 were sportier. Genesis has really taken bold steps with the textures and colour palettes of the interior. I love the design and layout of it. Fun, thoughtful touches are everywhere you look. For example, the power adjustment for the mirrors sits on its own silver perch, adjusted by a knurled knob. The glove box slides open like a drawer, rather than hinging open as most do.

Unlike the GV70 3.5T, which I thought was too focused on handling at the expense of ride quality, the GV60 is better balanced. Those up-and-down oscillations that grew tiresome while cornering meant the suspension had the capacity to soak up bumps and imperfections, aided no doubt by the suspension’s road previewing function that relies on camera and GPS info to prep the dampers for impending impacts. High-speed stability is good despite the Performance model’s quicker steering ratio, too.

Put the GV60 up against its luxury kin and it actually looks better. Its interior is much higher quality than the Model Y and a lot more powerful than the Audi Q4 E-Tron, though we’ve yet to drive that vehicle to give it a good shakedown. There are also more contenders on the horizon, with the Lexus RZ and Mercedes-Benz EQB coming down the pipeline as well. This is about to become a very crowded segment and it will be interesting to see how the GV60 compares to these external rivals, and not just its own stable.

I see that Autogefuel have just released a GV60 review. this is more of a full review than a first drive, but probably sensible to add it in here. I personally think that Thomas at Autogefuel provides the best car reviews on the web, though this one is maybe not quite as slick as usual for some reason. (Autogefuel is based in Germany (so unlimited speed on the autobahn is possible) but review is in pretty good English.)

TBH I'm not sure what these 0-60 runs are saying (other than Eco is distinctly slower). Pretty sure that the 0-60 in Sport is largely traction limited, so the Boost doesn't make much difference. I would have been more interested in say 30-70 times. I suspect that there would be a substantially bigger difference between Sport and Sport+Boost.

It's a start, we can always request that he does more tests like this. I was surprised at the difference with Eco but as I understand it, Eco disengages the dual motor so it only uses a single motor. But Eco surely gives the best range, I would think?

Well that is a good point! I have not seen an Advanced review. I have a Performance on order so I won't be any help once I get mine.

I think the problem is that most if not all reviews to date have been of press cars. And these are all pretty well specc'd up.

Yeah, it was the Performance one I did my test drive in, they’re so new to UK that the Genesis people bringing the car to you for the drive know very little about them and probably hadn’t read as much as I had so couldn’t answer many questions. To be honest I’m paying over £65k for a car that I don’t know how good it is compared to the fast one. Still can’t wait to get it though 😁

I guess the Sport in Eco mode is as close to Premium as you're going to get. I think in general that the fit and finish will be pretty similar between all the models, but options fitted as standard (IYSWIM) may well be somewhat different.

Ah, and I expect that the max regen won't be as strong on the Premium because there is only a single motor to do the regen. So presumably on this argument then the max regen will be highest on the Sport Plus, with the Sport being intermediate between Premium and Plus.
