I have noticed it as well. I have the all weather mats and the lip on the mat is very pronounced. I can never find a comfortable place to rest my heel when pressing the gas. I live in New England so sand and salt from my shoe collects around the pedal because the mat is too short.

Nope. 2023 3.5 Sport Prestige. I'm using WeatherTech mats and have not had an issue. View attachment 3351
The WeatherTech mats also stop short, but this has never bothered me. Probably because of my large feet?

I think I’m having the issue because of my small feet !
