Hello, I have been in car business for over 20 years. Im now retired. I was a manager for bmw. I have a baby Bentley, (Genesis) GV70, I always use reg gas. With 300 hp,you don't need it. My genesis runs great! No difference. It will not hurt anything.

Do a true check of your mileage.... you may be surprised that you get MUCH better mileage on higher octane....
I did that test on a Lexus years ago, empty tank to empty tank.
Mileage was much better than the 91 paid for itself..

I've heard this from other owners as well. I'm probably going to stick with 89 for now and see what type of mileage/performance I get/

In the 5 months I've owned my GV70, I have experimented 2 months each with 87 octane, 89 octane and now currently trying 91- 93 octane. I really can't say that I noticed much of a diff btw 87 and 89 but that 89 seemed to burn less quickly I think. Because i have been refilling my tank at half-way, the initial change to the higher octane results have been mixed a month in. I am however starting to sense that, after a month, that the higher octane seems to be running more efficiently while also burning slower. It might even be slightly 'peppier' in sport mode.
Once I finish testing the highest octane, I'm going back to reg for a direct comparison of 87/93 while it's fresh in my mind.

I just switched my wife's GV70 to 93 octane. Don't have the results yet but curious to hear yours when you are ready.
