Genesis App issues

My app hasn’t synced with my GV70 in two weeks. It times out and when I try to start it through the app I get a message saying it failed. No calendar linking either. Anyone else having similar problems? What’s the fix? I already cleared cache on my iPhone and deleted/reloaded the app.

My iOS Genesis app seems to be working OK connecting to my GV70. I just opened it, and it said last sync 19 hours ago. I did a manual refresh sync and it completed fine. Not sure what your issue might be. You could try deleting the app, restarting the phone, reinstalling the app, restarting your phone again and then try and see if that fixes the issue.

Call Genesis and they can walk you through how to disconnect your car from the App, then add it back. It's a somewhat convoluted procedure (had to do it with my GV70), but once you're reconnected, it's been working flawlessly since. Was having the same problem, after 4 days I called, and they had me reset the system. I pressed the map and setup buttons at the same time until the display goes black. Wait for it to boot back up and it worked. It happened again a week later, and I did this, and it worked. Let me know if this worked for you!

Yep, that was the procedure they had me do. Only they added other steps, like sign out of the app, delete it and then reinstall it and sign back in. But I think the essential parts are holding the setup and map buttons at the same time until the display goes dark and reboots.
I just took it to the dealer cause I gave up. They told me there was a massive update due. Fixed it. Only problem now is my Calle dat won’t sync and my GPS won’t allow me to choose tool roads.
