Can’t get this service to start. When I try to lock, unlock, or start I get the message “This connected service will start within 24 hours and also gives me an (844) number to call. I call, push 3 for connected services and then go into mindless hold music ****.

So far, I am totally disappointed with Genesis customer service compared to Lexus, Infiniti and MB. Disappointed is actually an understatement. Genesis customer service is non existent.

You're not the first one to bring this up about Genesis' customer service unfortunately. It might be worth going to a dealer so they can help you out if customer service isn't responding.

Is the message appearing on your phone or in the GV80?

It was on my phone. I did go back to my sales rep and his is trying to help.

He was very helpful. Had a contact not available to us and the issue was resolved within 48 hours. But Genesis Customer care still has a long ways to go.

I too, could not connect using the in-car customer care app. However, I was able to connect with Genesis service by landline, and the service was completed in Connecticut in July 2021 with complimentary concierge pickup and loaner to a dealer located 50 miles, one hour away. A bit tedious, but it got done.
