A test mule for a Genesis EV crossover was spotted testing in Death Valley alongside a Tesla Model 3, Audi e-tron, and Jaguar I-Pace. Since the test mule is wearing a modified Kia Niro body, it's possible that this crossover will be under the GV80 in Genesis' lineup.

According to Motor1.com, If the Model 3, e-tron and I-Pace are the main competitors, this Genesis EV should have a range of 200-250 miles. It also should be available in 2021.

At the very least it shows us that they're working on another new EV which is always cool. As for the GV80, Motor Trend says it'll be unveiled some time in the first quarter of next year. https://www.motortrend.com/news/genesis-gv80-concept-suv-arrives-2020/

On that note, Genesis has filed trademarks for "eG70", "eG80", and "eG90" along with "eGV70", "eGV80", and "eGV90". I'd like to think this means they're coming sooner than later but who knows at this point.
