A prototype of the electric Genesis GV70e was seen testing near the Hyundai Test Center in Germany!

Genesis appears to be skipping hybrids and going straight to EVs with the GV70e along with the G80e sedan.

On the GV70e it's sporting a closed grille, similar to the G80e prototypes along with a missing exhaust proving it's fully electric. It also has some new wheels on as well. Aside from those changes, there shouldn't be much of a visual difference between the GV70e and GV70.

I'm interested to see how Genesis' design team approaches the lack of a functioning grille on their electric SUVs. It's such a big part of the ICE GV70 and GV80's overall look.

The Kia Soul has a closed off grille, I wouldn't be surprised if its a Kia/Hyundai/Genesis thing to do.

I hope Genesis does something more than this as the luxury brand because to me this doesn't look good on the Soul.
