Here's what CarsDirect is reporting.
The 2021 Genesis GV80 is the brand's first luxury SUV but suffered from a delay in release date due to the pandemic. Fortunately, early incentives set to begin November 3 can help lower your cost whether you plan to buy or lease.
The GV80 boasts a slew of standard features, especially when it comes to driver assistance technology. The mid-size SUV is based on the G80 and has a sleek new look with redesigned headlights and grille.
Like other Genesis models, the GV80 offers 3 years of free routine maintenance. This is a benefit you won't find from every luxury brand.
Current offers are set to expire on NOVEMBER 2, 2020 and are available nationally.
NO CASH INCENTIVES:
The 2021 Genesis GV80 doesn't feature any standard rebates. There also aren't any loyalty discounts or bonuses for coming from a competitor. We sometimes see bonuses worth up to $1,000, but it may be some time before the GV80 gets a similar offer.
That said, Genesis does offer a $1,000 military discount for active duty, reservist, veteran, and retired military personnel. If you're a recent college graduate or plan to graduate within the next six months, a $400 college grad discount is available.
FINANCE FROM 1.9% APR:
All versions of the 2021 Genesis GV80 are eligible for 1.9% APR financing for up to 60 months. There's also a 72-month option at 2.5%.
0% financing from Genesis tends to be rare, so we consider this a pretty standard deal for this brand.
LEASE FROM $589/MONTH:
The 2021 Genesis GV80 2.5T debuts at $589 for 36 months with $5,499 due at signing. That equates to an effective cost of $742/month and is quite expensive given the vehicle's MSRP. That's about $50/month more than a 2021 G80.
Alternatively, the more potent GV80 3.5T with all-wheel-drive is listed at $699 for 36 months with the same amount at signing. Its effective cost is $852/month and may actually be a better value. Check with your local dealer for details.
- Rebates: No cash incentives
- Financing: From 1.9% APR
- Lease: From $589 for 36 months
