Genesis GV80 To Come With Three Engines
Hyundai has announced that the Genesis GV80 will have 3 available engines: a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder, a 3.5-liter V6, and a 3.0-liter diesel inline-six. It will also come with a new 8 speed DCT wet transmission.
According to the Korean Car Blog, the 3.5-liter T-GDi is the engine to focus on as it will produce 374 HP and 390 lb-ft of torque.
"In particular, the Smartstream G3.5 T-GDi is equipped with dual fuel injection technology that combines the advantages of the GDi system that directly injects fuel into the combustion chamber and the MPi system that injects the inlet port of the combustion chamber. In addition, the water-cooled intercooler is applied to increase the unique responsiveness of the turbocharger, and at the same time, it is capable of dynamic performance under various environmental conditions."
