Genesis has announced that the G70 will be the first model to receive their new 3d digital instrument cluster, and its launching exclusively in Korea next year. It's expected that availability will expand outside of this market in the future as well as across their lineup. The 12.3 inch screen is said to be the first in the industry that uses realistic 3d imagery.

I like what they did here but some element of an analog cluster helps, much like what Lexus does. Of all vehicles to create more emotion it should be those like the G70

This looks more like a display you'd see in a performance car than a luxury model. I guess the new G70 is a mix of both with its 365hp engine. Still think its a progressive step forward for the brand.

I don't see any issues with it, and for all we know it could remain exclusive to Korean models. Just a note that the 3d view can be disabled, as that kind of telescopic view can be tiring for your eyes.

Its just not right to me when Genesis is not a pure luxury brand but is projecting themselves to be sporty especially with products like the G70 and the upcoming SUV.

If playing the sporty angle, playing it all the way while building a brand is the only sound move.

Genesis hasn't been around nearly long enough for us to determine how they plan on orienting their products. Imo its going to be pricing that's going to be the biggest factor in how well new models like the G70 are received.

Offering more aggressive packages will help them and I think the developments happening around the N division could rub off on the G70.

They have already said that the G70 wont be getting any N variants, at least for the foreseeable future. It wouldn't be on par with that of an M model BMW anyways.
