What features that you saw advertised but did not realize you were not getting in your version of the GV80 until you got it and found them missing?

For Me: 3.5T Prestige US Version

1. No dash Cam
2. No AR Navigation
3. and just recently realized, no Air Filtration feature

No second row dual pane windows.
No adaptive headlights.
No exit ramp navigation on cruise.
No three zone a/c. It’s two zone. There are controls in the back but they change the settings in the front when used.
No sand and mud modes.

also US 3.5 Prestige

I'd trade "Passenger Talk" for any other missing feature. I mean c'mon, there's no use for it in a 2 row SUV. Some features we knew we weren't going to get that the Korean spec has but a lot of features were never mentioned that we would not get and the Dealers still have so little training that they know even less than us Genesis enthusiast.

Love everything about the GV80 but one annoying problem. No reminder if phone left in the car. When I use Apple car play (almost 100%) and park, I routinely have to go back to the car to get my phone. My prior car an Audi Q5 would remind with "your phone is in the vehicle" when turned off.

Buy the wireless adaptor on Amazon. I now leave my iPhone in my pocket and all works well!

I had no idea there isn't an air filtration system in it until now.
I found out before I picked up my Prestige version that there's no dash cam, disappointed.
I also knew there's no sand or mud setting, only in Canada.
What's "AR Navigation"?

Augmented Reality Navigation where it overlays your route on a Live Photo of the road ahead from the onboard front facing cameras.

Overall are you happy with your GV80? Did you order it with the 3.5 turbo?
I am beyond happy with my car. I did get the 3.5 Prestige model and wouldn't have it any other way. I've had mine since last December, it was the 2nd one to come in to Florida. I ordered it in May of 2020 and waited 7 months for it. It's one of the colors they no longer make (the Gold Coast Silver with the Dune Interior) that was very popular so I'm sure that it will be in demand whenever I go to sell it. I don't drive much and it only has 1600 miles on it so far. My last car was 8 years old with 26,000 miles so I'm sure this one will be less because of the pandemic and no where to go. I'd do it all over again if I had to. No complaints at all here. Would I have liked to have some of the things that they advertised but were missing. Sure they would have been fun. But it didn't stop me from getting it then and wouldn't now. Besides who else has a car that can park itself without you being in it? Not too many people.

Same here, I ordered mine last August and picked it up 12/28. Gold Coast Silver with the black/beige interior though. I also opted for the 3.5T. If they had a V-8 or high output version of the 3.5T I would have opted for either. That being said it's sufficiently fast.
I'm very happy with mine. I still get comments on the looks of it, all favorable. It has a look all its own.

Oh and also I thought I had so few miles on mine barely over 2,000 but you beat me with only 1,600.
And yes, you're correct, who else has a car that parks itself without being in it!

you can add about 80 HP and 100 TQ fairly easily. Check out Burger Tuning’s JB4.

WHY?? Are you going to race it? Do you drag race from stop lights?
If you're so obsessed with power & speed, you bought the wrong vehicle!
I don't think any of us purchased our GV80's to drag race everytime we come to a traffic light. That being said some of the other premium brands out there offer V-12, V-8 or High Output versions of their V-6 motors. When you purchase a premium vehicle you expect it to excel in all aspects including acceleration. There's something to be said about punching the accelerator once in a while and getting pushed back in your seat. The 3.5 Turbo version is no doubt quick but if Genesis had a High Output version of their V-6 or a V-8 option I would have opted for either. I'm not disappointed in the acceleration of the 3.5 Turbo but I would have gone for more horsepower if it was available.
Like Amnlupiano stated, you can reprogram the computer for more horsepower and torque but it would void the warranty so that's a "no go" fore me.
