I purchased the Gold Coast Silver 3.5 with Black interior. Love the look, color changes depending upon the light. Pictures are on line showing it on the GV70.

You're not the only one that's apparently heard this. @Bwalls heard it from the Genesis concierge.

Welcome @Bwalls! Which trim level are you looking to get? Leaning to the 3.5T Pretige. Can't find any Gold Coast Silver with beige/black interior at any dealer. I called Genesis Concierge to order but they have discontinued the Gold Coast Silver and Lima Red colors, now I have to decide on...

You can still build one in that color on the Genesis web site. So I'm wondering if they won't be sending any more spec cars in that color but if you want to pre-order one they can probably do that for you. I asked my salesman the other day and he said that he's not heard anything of the sort and had just placed a pre-order for one the day before. There were very few spec cars in Gold Coast Silver to start with, most on the road were pre-ordered. I ordered mine in June of 2020 and received it in December of 2020. There are also very few spec cars in the Prestige trim. The only way to typically find one is to get one that was a pre-order that someone walked away from. So you might want to go to the web site and build one and then they will call you back about it.

That's the rumor floating around. That being said a rumor is no more than a rumor. I have the Gold Coast Silver with the beige/black interior and I love it. Through the years I've heard plenty of rumors from salespeople in car dealerships that wound up being untrue. I'm waiting to hear an official notice from Genesis or I'll believe it when I go to the Genesis website and the color option isn't there anymore or when someone says they went to order their Genesis with Gold Coast Silver and a salesperson tells them it can't be ordered anymore. The Genesis dealer in NJ where I bought mine has a Gold Coast Silver GV80 on their lot right now (along with several G90's that are Gold Coast Silver). Did you actually try to place an order for a Gold Coast Silver Genesis?
If the rumor turns out to be factual I wonder why Genesis would discontinue the color? The color wasn't popular enough?

I don’t either. I wonder if they ran out of those colors and aren’t going to do another run of 2021s before the 2022s come out.

I just checked the website and those colors are missing. Kind of wonder why Genesis isn't offering them anymore? There could be several reasons why.

I'm curious if Genesis isn't offering those two colors anymore because they're not popular enough to justify offering them or because they're just out of the two colors for the time being? There's a 3rd possible reason (which I hope isn't the case) which may be there's some kind of defect with the color pigment that's been uncovered and they've quietly discontinued them. If that's the case we would eventually find out.

Personally I think they only made so many of them and those have sold. There was rumor that they weren't making any more new 2021s for this year and the other colors might just be what they already have in stock to sell. I cannot imagine as popular as the Gold Coast Silver is that it wasn't popular. Since it's still available on the G90 that would be my assumption.

I talked to 2 dealers in Houston and 1 in Fla and they all say they have been told the Lima Red and Gold Coast Silver have been removed from the system. I call Genesis and they say the same thing.
glad I got one of the last Lima Red 3.5t Prestige left in the US last Sat.

Welcome to the forum @Motorboat! I guess you'll have to hold on to your GV80 for as long as you can since it's going to be a rare one. Do you have any photos of it?

Correct, Gold Coast Silver is still available on the G90 so you could be right. Maybe they're done with the Gold Coast Silver and Lima Red production runs for the 2021 year and we may see both colors reappear for the 2022 production run.

I talked to my salesman today just to confirm the GCS 3.5 Prestige I reserved in March is still coming...so far, so good! The arrival date was updated (due to the chip shortage) to early July from late June. Keeping my fingers crossed!
