2 months old started getting the message. Called the dealer: Genesis of Austin, no appointment or loaner till first week of December
I wonder how Genesis is going to compete with the likes of Lexus
Don’t know what this issue entails.
I also noticed wind noise on the driver side

Welcome to the forum @lals. Has your GV70 been driving differently at all since the message appeared? Have you tried reaching out to another dealership for an appointment?

Just went through this with my GV80. Got the light at 1800mi. Couldn’t get an appointment for almost 6 weeks. Got it in yesterday and, good news in my case, it was only a bad sensor, no actual issue with the diff. Others have had to get the diff replaced from what I’ve read.

Hoping you get good news too!

I agree that the service after the sale is nowhere near Lexus etc levels. I’d like to think that on a $75k car there’d be a little step up from straight Hyundai service, but they seem to lump it all together, and I actually get attitude from the service advisors like “who do you Genesis dickheads think you are?” Really hope there’s a plan to step up the after purchase care in the very near future.

If u aren't getting concierge service from them and have another choice I'd switch to another dealer. I won't go into the details but we had excellent service out of a dealership in Conway Arkansas and we didn't even buy the suv there. Also it helps to get your case number assigned to genesis consumer affairs in California.

I got mine back after 2 months and they replaced the whole rear end. Had to take the axels, control arms and everything apart to replace the differential. Not good. Next problem and this car goes away. There will be a TSB on this issue soon enough they are just waiting for more and it will happen..

I have had my GV 80 since Aug 2,21 and have had nothing but issues. My power train light popped on yesterday so I got in today since they know my history of computer issues and I raised **** ...so that being said they told me it was my gas cap and I told them how many ppl on this forum have this issue and they were surprised. I will get it tomorrow and ask lots of questions and also talk about the Lemon Law here in the state of Florida because now I am afraid of it breaking down when I am away from home driving on a trip. Keep ya posted.
