Excellent and I don't blame you.... I would have made a joke about taking it back with a video, assuming you were still alive, but it would have benign poor taste. Now that I know the vehicle is still at the dealer, with proof, I'm cracking myself up. Good luck and keep us posted!!!!! I'm seriously wondering if this is another transfer case issue....

It happened to me 6 months ago and luckily they test drove the car with me and it acted up. They replaced the fuel pump and all was well. Or so I thought. Happened again last week I pulled into a gas station and turned the car off and on to reset. Started working fine. Took it to dealer and spent a week there. They couldn't reproduce it. Picked it up today. I get I'll try to record next time. 2022 GV70 Sport Weird thing is I also noticed the Auto turn off symbol in gauge turned orange and I couldn't turn it off.

This happened to less than one year old gv70 on the highway going 80 then all lights on dashboard came on. Oddly enough they went back off. It also happened while I was pulling out onto a main road at peak hour and nearly got hit. It’s very scary. After waiting for my service appointment nearly two weeks, I eventually told the new car needed a new fuel pump. The dealership is providing me with a loaner until they get the parts shipped in. Ill report back after I get the car and see if this happens again. I definitely feel like I’ve lost some bragging rights on the motor trend suv of the year. Little GV is not turning out to be reliable and that make it not worth the money I paid for her.

They replaced my fuel pump and it was fine for 6 months. Then it happened again. Waiting for it to happen again so I can record the symptoms, and maybe me screaming as well:). Aside from that, I love my GV.

Hyundai Santa Fe's are having the EXACT same issue and have issued an official NHTSB recall for the problem. It requires a TCU update and a possible complete tranny replacement, depending if the bad software damaged the drivetrain.... Coincidence?
