I got my GV80 last spring, so didn’t have much use for the heater. But I’ve noticed lately that when I use the heater some water comes out of the very rear vent in the cargo area. It could also be from exterior rain coming in while heat is on. Just yesterday I noticed the carpet behind the driver’s seat is damp as well as if water was coming out if the vent under the seat.
The issue now is that the dampness in the car creates condensation on the windows, which then drips down in other areas.
Anybody else experience this?
I plan on having dealer investigate, but wanted to query this forum first.

Definitely an issue for the dealer to investigate and correct. I haven't had that issue.

Update: After monitoring the water from the vents issue, I actually think it’s now rain related. I don’t have to be driving in the rain, but if it rains overnight and I start my car the next morning, then water comes out of the cargo area vents, and the carpet behind the driver’s seat is wet as well.
So, the dealer did drive 40 miles to my house today to pick it up for service. Left me a nice 2022 G80 as a loaner.
I’ll update when I know more.

Well, here we are in January and still nothing. Was scheduled for dealer pick-up Monday, but they messed up the schedule so will pick up next week.
But, after my own analysis, I have determined that I have two issues. The water coming out of the heater vent in cargo area is rain related. The wet mat behind drivers seat is due to a leak at top of rear drivers side door. The seal is not tight enough and I can actually see water running down the side if the seat. So, hopefully they’ll replace all door seals because actually the highway sound is a bit drafty.

Update to my issue.
So, my GV80 had been at the dealer for a week+ and they just called to keg me know they think they found the source of my leak.
They say the rear corner of my sunroof leaks. Water drops down to rear seat and pools behind drivers seat. I thought I had a door seal issue.
Also, water is running behind headliner and interior panels to cargo area and coming out of that ‘vent’ on side wall of cargo area. I thought it was coming out of the heating system, but as it turns out, that vent on the sidewalk of cargo area is decorative and not connected to anything. So, the water behind the panel is just coming out there.
Anyway, need a whole new sunroof. Big job to replace, and they’ve never done one before. Yikes.
