We have a 2021 GV80 with 3.5L turbo engine. A day after a dealer oil change, car lost power from 3000-6000 rpm range, shifted sluggishly. No check engine lights. All diagnostics were normal. No leaks or odd noises. Car just could not get up any grade or on the freeway safely. It was not fuel grade.

Took to another dealer for service. They found that the hose to the turbos was disconnected (had come off). Caused by the oil change tech not retightening hoses adequately after the oil change. Im
Sure this will happen to others…

Its odd to me that all the engine sensors and diagnostics failed to show ANY problem.

Turbo takes exhaust gases to spin a turbine to pressurize intake air. Not really anything to do with the engine running ok or not so i guess it could make sense. Does seem like some sensor would be involved doesn't it.

I've had several recent events on my 2022 GV80 where I've experienced a loss of motive power while accelerating from stop. Dealership could not find any error codes, but verified that other GV80 owners have experienced the same issue.
