I finished reading all 632 pages of the GV80 Owner's Manual, a masterpiece of boredom and restful sleeping (chapter 70 is amazing in this). What I did not see through my sleepy eyesw ism any coverage of the second sunroof and and coments on the ambient sound controls. There are microphones on the wheel wells to counter tire noise, and the engine noise can be also controlled to into the cabin. Nothing in the manual. Any ideas?

ACTIVE SOUND DESIGN (IF
EQUIPPED)
• Active Sound Design is a function that provides enhanced virtual engine sound when the driver is depressing the accelerator pedal.
• You can activate or deactivate Active Sound Design function from the Settings menu in the infotainment system screen. Select:
  • Setup → Vehicle Settings → Active Sound Design → Ehanced/Standard/ Minimized/Off, or
  • Setup → Sound Settings → Active Sound Design → Enhanced/ Standard/Minimized/Off
See additional information in supplied Infotainment Manual.

Trying to figure out if the noise cancellation process is active automatically via radio, or is there a setting?

The ANC is always on automatically.
I tried putting a sub woofer to help with the lack of bass in the car and the ANC kept the sub on even when the radio was turned off. I had to disconnect the subwoofer and figured out there is no way that I have thought of yet to add more bass in the system because of the ANC.

Any progress on this? Also, mind sharing details and how you connected to the existing wiring harness to get a preamp signal?
