Folks, while the Genesis Engineers missed the value of having a spare tire, they did engineer in the space for same. Thanks to all those that helped me identify the parts needed. I took the list to the dealer, and he installed the spare with ease and it's nearly full sized. It's a very clean installation and gives me much peace of mind as I am in the mountains with zero cell service often enough to make the expense worthwhile. Thanks again for this forum!!!

Lucky you!. If my Advanced+ (3rd row seats) ever has anything bigger than a small nail/screw in a tire, I'm SOL!!!

I hear you. I didn't even think about the 3rd row option. I love my Genisis, but they really missed the mark when it comes to providing a spare. It was not cheap and should have been included in the initial price of the car, in my opinion. Likewise, they should have engineered the option for a spare, even in the Advanced+ model. Stay out of the mountains or keep a satellite phone with you should you venture out very far, right?

I hear ya about Genesis Connect (GC) and only considered the spare strongly after finding GC must be cell network based instead of satellite based and that for a flat they ask you to call a tow truck. That was based on a test call I made while at an altitude and in town. Bringing a tire replacement wasn't an option. I'll test GC again next time I am in town and at altitude. Perhaps all your emoticons should be telling me your comment is said a tad tongue in cheek. I can be slow with such things, so forgive me if I am laboring on unduly

What size tires are on your GV80? From what I read, the 20's will fit in the hole, but the 22's won't. And I think you can't have the third row of seats as well. But I could be wrong and someone can correct me if I am. I have a 21 with 20" wheels and mine came with a spare.

Here's the list and comments from my dealer. Turns out it did work. I actually had them mount it and test drive it and all was fine. It's a very clean installation. Be sure to confirm with your dealer and whatever difference there is in tire size, it was not noticeable when mounted. Picture attached.

ATTACHED IS GENESIS SPARE TIRE KIT QUOTE FOR 2021 GV80. HAD TO USE NO VIN TO PULL PARTS UP, WITH VIN IT DID NOT ALLOW ME TO SELECT PARTS. WE ARE HOPING THIS WILL WORK.

Honestly, I do not recall the size, but was happy with the look once installed for a test drive. I attached a pic in another post, so won't clutter up the string any further.
