Welcome to the forum @NeelJ! There are some YouTube you can check out that show you how to install a radar detector that might help. Which detector are you looking to install?

Have you considered bringing it to a shop? Installations are pretty cheap from my understanding.

Thanks for the information, I went to the shop and they are not sure where to tap in for power as car is a new model. They wanted to do research and let me know if they can do it.

I used a micro fuse tap into the power outlet fuse. I pulled out the rubber weather-strip , removed side panel of dash that clips on , ran wire up left side .

Know response may be late....but. If you are looking to mount near the rearview, the easiets approach is to use the Blendmount mirror Tap. It plus into the wires at the mirror connector with NO splicing etc. Install takes minutes, and can be removed as easily. Blendmount mounts are also the way to go for mounting the detector etc to themirror
