Headlights/tailights to be radically different in production model

One of the main aspects of concepts that we see change in production, is their lighting systems. While the design on the GV looks pretty sleek, I doubt it will be practical enough to meet the current safety standards for lighting. This is one area where new vehicles continue to struggle with the latest IIHS tests. What do we think of the current lighting setup?

I don't mind how the setup looks, but I agree that its far from practical. Not really sure what kind of coverage the current setup could provide. The G70 saw some radical changes from its early concepts as well.
I personally think Genesis nailed the production design of the G70, and I think we are going to see a lot of early interest in it. And yeah originally it also had a very long and narrow lighting setup.

Recent spy shots of the next G80 are slowly showing this design concept come to life. I'm still concerned however because it almost looks like a rolls royce knock off. If done right Genesis will be off to the right start for the first time. It can be a more affordable S-Class with real class!
