Is there a way to change the color on the heads up display, its hard to see white in sun, my telluride let me change colors on the display

I don't believe there is a way to change the colors on the heads up display. But, are you wearing polarized sun glasses when in the sun? If so you might want to change to non-polarized sun glasses to view the heads up.
