I ordered and installed the illuminated scuff plates for my GV70. They are indeed white. They are a trivial five minute install using a trim tool to remove the OEM scuff plates. They use button batteries, one on each plate, and corresponding small activation magnets that attach to the underside of the door frame on each side. I’m not overly impressed with build quality. The driver’s side battery compartment did not secure fully, so I had to tape over the cover to hold it in place. The battery compartment is not visible and both sides work so I’m not overly concerned, but for a $350 price I’m a bit underwhelmed.
