ThanksYep, found the same issue. So I hooked it up as my second bluetooth source. Seems kinda stupid that you cant connect via USB. FWIW I have also had issues connecting a Galaxy Tab to USB, same issue
IPod touch-can't be used when plugged into the USB?
I have a 2023 GV80. I tried plugging in my iPod touch (approx 3 years old) to the USB port and expected to see the it come up under Media. This is how it worked on my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe.
Apparently I can use a USB memory stick with music on it , but was told by a Genesis rep that the ipod won't work that way. I know I can Bluetooth it, but would rather have it directly plugged in. I have over 10,000 songs on it and don't want to put all that on my phone.
Any comments, helpful info? Am I missing something?
