I have owned Lincolns, BMWs & Mercedes and while I really loved my BMW's the G80 is my favorite car ive ever owned. I can not wait to get my GV80, from my Genesis experiences im sure I will be more than impressed.

Owned a BMW, Infiniti, Lexus and a couple of Acuras. Fell in love with the looks and features of the GV80. Mine is due to arrive mid January.

I had a 2011 Genesis Sedan when it was still under the Hyundai name. This will be my first vehicle under the Genesis brand.

First luxury vehicle. I'm choosing it because of the tech/safety features offered in combination with it's look. I know the other, sometimes better, technology that is out there but those vehicles are either out of my price range or I genuinely do not like the look of the car's interior/exterior. The GV80 just ticked more of my boxes than other's did.

First Genesis. Have liked their design direction, especially the past 4 years. Had settled on an Audi Q8 or Lincoln Aviator....but then saw articles and videos on the upcoming GV80. Couldn’t wait to see and test drive one! It looked like Genesis was taking the big leap to seriously go up against the luxury rivals. Once I saw and drove it, I had to have it! VIK Black on beige Prestige model. Somehow landed in the Daytona Beach dealership. Very lucky to get it before anyone else!

Bought my Genesis on 11/25/20. My first car of this brand, coming from a Nissan Rogue. Chose it for the tech, looks and didn't seem run of the mill

That was the first gen right?
I remember that was a solid car. The new one for 2015 really raised the bar for Genesis though.

Cayenne was my backup buy...traded a Panamera for GV80. Much more comfortable.

I'm surprised you went right to Genesis for more luxury instead of Audi or even Mercedes.
Did you shop around with them or others before deciding to go with the GV80?

I read so many iffy reviews on both...my wife has a benz...kind of bored with it. Our Hyundai Santa Fe has been great!

Why act so surprised . Porsche, especially the model he traded and his plan B model are the bottom of the Porsche brand . Anyway I’m sure he’s glad to get rid of such a depreciating, unreliable vehicle. Just a marquee name and it worked . You went WOW a Porsche. A base Cayenne starts at $67k! Not really wow now is it!!
My father has a real Porsche, a 911 Carrera S . Nothing but issues and regrets. It’s nice looking but a money pit.

Bought an Equus followed by a 2018 G90. Have owned MB and Acura. Love the comfort and convenience, the V8 performance, the concierge service.

Checked the car out today. Red rear turn signals! Look really really bland. Complete cop out by Genesis USA. What happened to bright amber?? My 17 G80 has amber?? Rear middle seat also horrible. Non existent. Just the holder rest really! Weird. Car feels very confined to me. Not as roomy as I thought. Love the infotainment center. Ambient sounds incredible. Loved the rain forest and cafe!! Absolutely beautiful car but beauty isn’t everything. Left disappointed.
