Dealer texted me that they had a GV80 to see. It was already sold but I was told I could see it, but not drive it. Hustled over there with my wife and it lived up to my expectations. It was Gold Coast Silver (gorgeous) with a two toned interior. Not to my liking, but still quite nice.
Asked salesman what the next step was and he checked to see what was coming in. Turns out that 6 were scheduled for delivery in mid January. Two were sold and the other 4 were white. Only two of those had the black interior I wanted. I chose the Uyuni White over the bright white, because my wife’s two cars are that type of white.
There was no discount on the GV80, so the negotiation just involved what they were going to give me on my trade. I wanted $25,000 and they offered me $23,000. After some talk they raised it to $23,500. I thanked the salesman, grabbed the brochure and started heading out. He stopped us and said $24,000 if we were going to buy tonight. We agreed and he wrote up a tentative sales agreement. Since he didn’t know the final price of the 3.5 Advanced, he listed it as $$62,000 and I put a $500 deposit on my Visa card.
I realize that I didn’t get a great deal, but since I’ve been reading about dealers marking their cars up 5 to 10 thousand dollars, I’m happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for your interest!

Congratulations @dapribek! Nice color combination! What car did you trade in if you don't mind me asking?

Congrats
What other vehicles were you considering before deciding to go with the GV80?

Seriously looked at Lincoln Corsair, but online complaints about build quality issues killed that for me. I was going to look at the Infiniti QX60 Monograph when it came out. From everything I‘ve read the Mazda Grand Touring trim level is a great car. That also made my short list.

Great choices.
The Corsair is elegant but the complaints turned me away as well.

What information have you received from your dealer so far about the delivery timeline?

Car is built and at port. Anticipated delivery date is mid January. He said he’ll know more once he gets the VIN number. I saw the info he already has on it, so I guess that this is really happening. Pleasantly surprised!

Are dealerships willing to lease new gv80s right now?
You should be able to find a dealer to lease the GV80.

LEASE FROM $589 PER MONTH:

The 2021 Genesis GV80 2.5T debuts at $589 for 36 months with $5,499 due at signing (10,000 miles). That equates to an effective cost of $742 per month and is quite expensive given the vehicle's MSRP. In comparison, you're paying $50 more per month than a 2021 G80 sedan.

Hi,
Please tell me it has amber Rear turn signals. I am seeing Red which is shocking.
Korean model shown for months are amber. Every Genesis model is amber. GV80 having red turn signals would be a step backwards.
