Has anyone encountered a suitable phone mount for the GV80.
I can’t seem to find one.

I use CarPlay wirelkessly, so have no need, but, as the dash vents are so recessed, you can forget vent mounts. If you happen to have an iPhone 11 or higher, a flat magnet, two faced taped to the dash somewhere, would make a great mount.

I picked up this one at the dollar tree last year. It works just fine, but similar to SGilbert, I use wireless a Android device so my phone does not leave my pocket. This worked amazingly well for $1.25. Clipped right onto the counsel in a few spots and holds my Samsung S21 well.

Consider using the one made by Weather Tect. It goes in the cup holder and is very stable.

I purchased one after searching everywhere I think amazon?. It goes over the top of the center monitor and has a swivel ball on either end his/hers. I extended and modified so it came down further so it is easier to see.

Teeran Carplay Factory wired for GV80 plug and play may need to load latest software with instruction provided. Works pretty well not perfect but all right Amazon 90.00

Disregard what I posted below, I misread the post and thought you were looking for Android. But for anyone with android, this thing works great.

I know you were asking SGilbert, but I use the Motorola MA1. It works flawlessly and there is no software to update or settings to set. You just plug it in and follow the simple instructions to set it up. I had a AAWireless brand that worked flawlessly in my Audi, but did not work in my Genesis. I would stay away from that one (AAWireless brand) for the Genesis.

For wireless CarPlay connection, I purchased the "SuperiorTek 5.0 Wireless CarPlay" adapter and it works flawlessly with my 2023 GV80. In fact when it connects to the GV80,the navigation display shows it connecting to the iPhone. Other wireless adapters have complaints of lag when using Apple Maps, but I have not experienced that.

This my set up. No charging unless you cable. I think I paid $13.00 + or -. Works on the Samsung S22 Ultra. Should work on most phones.it is made for vent mount but fits perfectly as shown.

With phone in these holders they obstruct some normal operation access. Starting, temperature control..... slight inconvenience
