Today, a GV60 EV prototype was spotted wearing nothing but camo wrap, revealing a lot of its final design that we expect to see during the late 2021 debut. Its the first time we're seeing the GV60 like this. The last time a GV60 prototype was spotted, it was wearing camo so heavy that all you could see was the roof and a tiny bit of the front/rear lighting setup.

The back end looks much better in these photos than the renderings I've seen. I like how they've kept the same quad taillight setup like the other GV vehicle but made it slightly unique for the GV60.

Here's what we can expect:

Genesis' first pure EV, the GV60

It is an EV model developed based on the Genesis Mint concept, which was unveiled at the New York Motor Show in the U.S., and applied E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform), a platform exclusively for EVs of Hyundai-Kia Motors Group.

Unlike the existing internal combustion engine-based platforms, E-GMP is developed as a platform exclusively for EVs, so it can secure a wider indoor space, taking into account the characteristics of EVs such as battery, motor, body, and chassis structure. It was designed by.

In addition, it has been applied with a super-fast charging system (80% charging in 18 minutes, driving over 500km with one full charge), and it is possible to implement a zero-back 3.5 seconds and a maximum speed of 260km/h.
In addition, it can be applied to various types of vehicles such as sedans, CUVs, SUVs, high-performance and high-efficiency models.

It will be applied for the first time in Hyundai's sub-brand Ioniq 5, which is scheduled to be released at the end of this month, followed by Kia CV and Genesis GV60.

An extremely short front overhang, an exceptionally long wheelbase and large 21-inch wheels stand out.

My only criticism with this design is how much the rear window swoops up. I'd like a little more window instead, it looks a bit awkward.
It should look better when finally see it in full, from different angles and in different colors.
For now, check out these renderings.

It looks like the GV60 EV will get an active rear spoiler. This is a feature often seen on higher performing vehicles and could hint at what to expect. It rides on the E-GMP platform that's currently shared with the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and Kia CV. On the CV, Kia confirmed it can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds! There's a good chance that will be possible here as well, along with others to help justify that spoiler.

They also said this about the CV: "E-GMP is engineered to offer improved cornering performance and driving stability at high speed. This is due to optimal weight distribution between front and rear, a design that enables a low centre of gravity thanks to its low-mounted battery pack. The adoption of electric motors located in the space previously occupied by an engine means there's additional capacity not found in your typical sports coupé.

If it is an active spoiler I wonder if it's going to be adjustable or if it will only have 1 position.
