Do incoming calls ring out through the car speakers?

I see you have not gotten an answer yet.
It might be helpful to know that my android phone works through the car speakers without android auto running.
Of course, you need link the car with the phone on Bluetooth.

My 2023 works with my iPhone 14 Pro Max .. just have to ensure u pair the phone with the vehicle. I just switched from my 13 that had been paired previously and was wondering why my 14 wasn’t working til it dawned on me I had not paired the new phone with the vehicle.

Thanks, but I have tried un-pairing my phone and then pairing it again-still doesn't ring out through car speakers
