So I installed this myself. After looking at the directions it didn't seem to bad. The biggest issue is that you need a hole cutter (1 inch Carbide). I picked one up from Home Depot. The frame metal is very tough to get through....you have to make pilot holes with drill bits and step up the size gradually until its big enough to use the hole cutter. Initially used 4 jack stands to give me some space to work. Once you cut the holes and bolt the brackets on you have to take the vehicle off of the stands so you can bolt the boards on. Start with the back brackets first because they can only go into one spot. The front bracket with the motor should go second because there is a link bar that goes in between the two of them and it has to have the correct spacing in between for them to work correctly. Once that is complete the hard work is done. You just have to run the wire into the car (there is a rubber grommet under both front seats that make it easy to run through. As for wiring to the car. You can use the positive and negative from the trailer brake harness and for it to operate you have to unbolt the fuse box and tap into the two wires on one of the back harnesses. (this is what lets the boards know when your opening the door on the left vs the right. I hope this answers any questions. As for my personal touch....I had a local engraver make to plastic plates for me. It comes with 2 that says WingStep with there email address. I wanted mine to say Genesis and GV80 instead. (that was $20).You can use the positive and negative from the trailer brake harness and for it to operate you have to unbolt the fuse box and tap into the two wires on one of the back harnesses.
