Display is definitely not distracting at night, hope this helps!
The display can be dimmed a bit with the cluster brightness setting. However it was still too bright fir me at night so I used Settings to set display to Auto day/night mode. When the night mode kicks in the display goes into dark mode (eg Map) and is much easier and comfortable on the eyes IMO.I am ready to purchase a GV80 2.5 Prestige, but have one final thought/question - hope you guys can share your experience.
At night, does the light from the 14" screen across the top of the dash bother anyone while driving?
Seems like it could throw off a lot of light, and since I cannot test drive at night, I cannot experience this for myself.
Thanks for any comments.
How do i find the blue light setting? There is also the blue light settings for night driving. Very useful.
Settings -> Display -> Blue Light FilterHow do i find the blue light setting?
Settings -> Display -> Blue Light Filter
Of course, thanks!Settings -> Display -> Blue Light Filter
The screen brightness automatically adjusts depending on the light.I am ready to purchase a GV80 2.5 Prestige, but have one final thought/question - hope you guys can share your experience.

Does not bother at all. It automatically goes into night vision mode.I am ready to purchase a GV80 2.5 Prestige, but have one final thought/question - hope you guys can share your experience.

Not at all. I have a GV80 3.5T Prestige. All of the Genesis GV80 models have customization features that allow the driver to dim, brighten, or turn off the Infotainment system. Some have complained that the system is difficult to navigate. I completely disagree. It will take time to learn, but be patient. Your Genesis does some amazing things and has redundancies built in. Lots of customization and lots of features. Remember, part of the allure of the interiors of Genesis are its commitment to elegance and simplicity. Only the essentials are easily managed. Clean lines. This is what separates Genesis from all others like Audi, BMW, or Mercedes who have illogical buttons all over. I look forward to your experience.I am ready to purchase a GV80 2.5 Prestige, but have one final thought/question - hope you guys can share your experience.

Thanks for the feedback - I also look forward to the experience, but cannot find a white 2.5 Prestige with dune/ultramarine blue interior. Tons of grey GVs out there though. I drove a couple of them and was really impressed. Even the 2.5l engine felt quick and more than adequate for how I drive. I did like the 3.5l more, but fewer trips to the pump is an okay trade off for me.Not at all. I have a GV80 3.5T Prestige. Wow…Good luck finding that color combination. My GV80 is Adriatic Blue with the marine blue interior. I had to special order it and it took almost 6 months. Maybe order a 2022. Lol. But, I will tell you this, the blue is beautiful. Thanks for the feedback - I also look forward to the experience, but cannot find a white 2.5 Prestige with dune/ultramarine blue interior. The Adriatic Blue is very nice! In some pictures I have seen the 2-tone steering wheel - Ultramarine Blue on the outside and dune on inside of the wheel - do you have that on your GV80 - maybe this is only available in Korea.Wow…Good luck finding that color combination. its the steering wheel on the 3.5 Prestige. I have the two toned dune/blue steering wheel on mine. I’m not sure if it’s the same on the 2.5 Prestige or not.The Adriatic Blue is very nice! The seats themselves are different. The 3.5 gets Napa leather.Ah, that's it. Steering wheel on the 3.5 is 2-tone and not so on the 2.5. I just confirmed that on the Genesis website. The pattern on the seat is also different between the 2 powertrains.
Thanks!
