This GV80 is driving all on its own thanks a new advanced driver-assistance feature from Genesis called Highway Driving Assist II (HDA II) and here's how they explain it: An automated system that controls your speed and keeps you in lane when driving on the highway. Harmonizing with the surrounding traffic, Highway Driving Assist monitors the distance between you and the car in front, automatically maintaining a safe speed and distance. At full stops, the GV80 stops and restarts after the departure of the car in front. Experience less fatigue and a smoother drive without disruptive deceleration.

It's impressive to see this technology in action but I find it a bit convenient that there weren't any cars in front of the driver. I don't know about anyone else but I'm not ready to start using features like this yet.

Its actually a very standard feature these days, so much that even the new basemodel Corolla has it. Compared to very affordable vehicles like that Toyota, the GV80 isn't doing anything special here. What we need to see are actual tests to gauge how well it performs.

Anyone here have first hand experience?

For sure, there need to be more videos of this and what makes it unique to Genesis (if at all).

While that will help the Genesis experience, I really want to see what its core functionality is like.
Smooth braking and not needing the best case scenario to maintain lane would be considered actual benefits to me.
