I saw this on a dealer website. Is the servicing part accurate?

Interesting. If you review the maintenance schedule in the owners manual, its's mainly tire rotations and some inspections. Not much challenging about that. Unless something goes wrong I guess.
But I am not in one of these states and I still hope to buy one.

Yes, that is a good question. Since my local dealers sell the Ioniq 5, it seems that could service the mechanicals and software. But, that makes it a challenge until they begin selling in more dealerships. Perhaps I do need to wait until it comes to my area in Ohio.

I spoke to the Genesis Concierge this morning. She stressed that they DO NOT recommend buying one out of state of the 4 states selling the GV60 as these dealers are the only ones who are authorized to service them. She reiterated it a few times that it would not be a good idea, from the Genesis Concierge perspective, to purchase one until it becomes available in your own state.
She did mention there is now a fifth state - Nevada - selling the GV60, so that is progress!

It's an excellent point and one I think should be OK to own one out of state.

I live in NC and bought in NY. My local dealer told me they are qualified to service the GV60 even though they don’t sell it yet.
