Hi. Can’t seem to get full time traffic or Doppler Radar map on my new GV80. I can get the traffic on Apple car play with google maps, but nothing on the cars nav. I do get the traffic only when I have an active route in. I live 70 miles east of Arlanta GA and 70 miles west of Augusta, GA. Thanks in advance

Hey @ppriest727. If you go to the "HD Radio Data" section that information should come up without setting an active route. This video should help.

Just found out that Genesis has discontinued the free 3 year subscription for Weather and Traffic. The GV80 radio is not compatible with SiriusXM traffic anymore. The only way I know to get traffic info is to have an active route on the map. Genesis was supposed to provide Traffic through the HD Data info, but I have had no results. Anyone else found this problem?

This really gripes me. HD Radio Data is only available in major metropolitan areas. Good luck finding out where, since the web site hasn't been updated in years. One owner says he gets it all over Texas, but I have not been able to pick it up in three states. Not sure why Genesis put in a system that is apparently useless on the interstate where you might need weather radar. And I can find no way to get gas prices, even though Waze supposedly shows it, but again, no luck. Hopefully someone, somewhere can find a work around.

I found this post in the Palisade forums that explains what happened: Traffic and Weather alerts not working-
So Hyundai cut a deal to eliminate SXM Traffic and Weather. Probably saved them a few bucks.
