Is there a way to permanently disable this feature besides pressing on off every time car is starting?

this isn't totally permanent but it works until you remove it.

Yeah, it seems like a workaround, not very aesthetic though

It's on the left side so low I have to bend my neck to even see it. Nobody in the car knows it's there but me.
