Hello all, I had been having my GV80 for 1 month and 5 days it has been in the shop for 6 of the days I have had it for issues involving my lumbar massager ( which they just replaced last week) just turning on, the main screen going blk for 12 hs so that meant no Navi, no phone ,no safety features or radio it also doesn't recognize my key fab so the doors don't unlock and there is no welcoming chime or leaving chime and now just today while backing up my mirrors didn't turn down and all of my trip info on my dashboard was gone. The dealership did a "soft reset" on it on 9/2 and said that should do it. I am having serious debuts about all of this.
I really like this car and waited years to buy a new car and now I am having second thoughts. I hope someone out there can give me some feed back

Welcome to the forum @peachyorange

Did some of the issues at least go away or improve after the dealer did that soft reset?
Have you tried reaching out to Genesis corporate to see what they say?

Check out this thread.
No , even when I got in the car this morning my trip info from yesterday was erased and my going away chime didn't work it did however chime once yesterday (but the welcome chime works) nor did my mirrors which they both worked when I bought the car (turn down when backing up). Some of the issues seem better but now the mirror and trip thing is new.
The dealer send they called Gensis and were told to "soft set" the car.

The dealer said they did both but I am feeling I might be calling BS on this. Genesis said to soft reset and that no one else is having these issues

There are two trip screens, one resets every time you turn off the car, it is a true "trip" one. There is a second one that has to be reset by you if/when you want. You need to scroll to that screen if that's what you want to see standard.
For the mirrors in reverse, like someone stated, your L/R toggle switch has to be on one of the mirrors, not in the center position. This tells the car which mirror you want dropped when you go into reverse.

I believe when you reset the car, all information and profile info gets wiped so you will likely just have to set the car back up to your liking as you did when you got the car new. I’ve had the GV80 since December and love the car. Only had one issue that I needed the dealer for (to fix the radar after a big snow storm I drove thru).
