I'm interested in the electric version, so won't join the party until next year for sure... Also depends on pricing and color options (Hopefully all the ones available on the gas version). I really like the matte Melbourne Grey color (With blue and red interior), however I have yet to see a shot of this color outside instead of in a showroom and the car in person...

Refreshing to see such a wide color palette on a vehicle.

Welcome @Wolf359! It'll be interesting to see how Genesis pulls off the electric GV70. Are there any specs as far as range or power goes that you'd like to see it have?

I'd like it to have the exact same specs as the G80 Electrified, which is 99.9% likely (365hp and ~500lb-ft of torque) since they already share the same gas engines. It should have the same 300 miles of range which is a must have (Our cottage is about 120 miles from home but in winter conditions you can lose 30% of range on an electric car).

I'm curious about towing capacity, as there is a boat ramp not even a mile from the cottage, going full electric with a future electric pontoon as well would be nice, especially in a province producing 100% clean electricity.

First things first, I got to get a 30-foot long trench dug to bring power to my parking spot and a charger installed... Then one at the cottage (Simpler installation), I should get everything ready in time for the release of this new entry in the EV SUV segment!

I just read about how much of a maintenance nightmare matte colors are and I'll skip my turn on Melbourne Gray. I already got enough sticky stuff falling from trees and months of winter grime not to worry on top of that about ruining the paint just by trying to scrub off dirt on it. I might go with blue on blue, but we'll see if the electric version has unique colors to offer as well...!

Just took delivery of a Mauna Red 3.5T Sport Prestige on Friday. Coming from a Kia Stinger. At 6’4” I was worried I wouldn’t fit well but I actually fit better and had an easier time getting in and out vs the GV80. View attachment 1955

I have yet to see a Mauna red GV70 in person, but have a hard time figuring out what that color really is like because it varies greatly in pictures found on the web. On your photo, the shade of red is reminiscent of the Mazda red (Which I like), but on other pictures it sometimes look almost like having an orangy tint to it (Not crazy about that). So my question is, which is it, can you describe the shade of red a bit?
