Just placed the deposit online on Sunday, uploaded my trade-in info on Monday and test-drove the car again for an hour this morning, AND was told my GV80 (3.5T Prestige, 7 seats - Canadian version, green on green) will be arrived within 10 days...wow...this is SUPER FAST!!!! I can't wait to see my new baby!

I am actually paying lower than MSRP, including higher-than-market trade-in value for my Q5, plus all weather mats. I'm pretty happy with the deal.
I was told that Genesis Canada does not allow any dealership to offer any discounts/mark-ups (all fixed price), I'm sorry I'd better not reveal my dealership online.
I've been looking around 3-row SUVs, like Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, MB GLE, Lexus 450L, even BMW X7, but none of them made my wife and me want to own them right away. To be honest, I just knew GV80 around a month ago from a car review on YouTube and my wife even didn't know the brand "Genesis" at that time, but we both just fell in love with the car immediately when saw it. However, it took us almost a month to debate with ourselves to justify the purchase for this new brand and here we come.

Welcome to the forum @vincentliang! That's amazing you're going to get it so quickly. Was there anything specific about the GV80 that sold you and your wife on it?
That's quite the unicorn in the US. We can only get the green interior with the 3.5T Prestige, which means no 3rd row. I'd love to see pics of the green 3rd row seats.

Glad to know you didn't pay over MSRP! How are you finding space to be in the GV80 since you were originally looking at 3-row SUVs? Does it at least accommodate a good amount of what you need?

There are many good stuff on this vehicle, but the most important part to us would be the overall excellent built quality and stylish interior and exterior. We just fell in love with it right away when we first saw it on YouTube.

My wife and I both tested the space for all three rows during our 2nd test drive yesterday. I might be wrong as I don't have the dimension for all vehicles, but our feelings are:
for the first row: shoulder: GV80>X7>X5/Q7/XC90/GLE; headroom: X7>Q7>Q5/XC90/GLE>GV80 (all more than enough for my wife and me);
for the second row: shoulder (not the middle seat): X7>GV8>Q7/X5/XC90/GLE; headroom: X7>Q7/Q5/XC90/GV80/GLE; legroom: X7>GV80/GLE/XC90/Q7>X5 (still more than enough for my family);
for the third row: shoulder: GV80 is way wider than other vehicles, even X7 (again, this is just our feeling, it might be wrong); headroom: X7> XC90/Q7/GLE>GV80 (anyone shorter than 165cm or 5'5 should be okay)>X5/GLB>RX450L; legroom: X7>>XC90>GV80/Q7>GLE>RX450L/GLB (I can't sit in the 3rd row due to the low headroom, but my wife (157cm or 5'2) sits very comfortably and she really likes siting there.) (still meets our family need - for emergency only).
I know it's unfair to put X7 for comparison, but I wanna point out that in certain areas GV80 has larger space.

Dealer sent email... now looking at delivery in February sometime. Asked them to send VIN when have it so have more solid idea when it will actually arrive. Anyone else's delivery been delayed recently?
I ordered 2.5 AWD advanced with blue and dune back in mid Nov. Dealer has no idea when it will arrive. The only update he has is that the order hasn't been picked up yet. He said that realistically, it could be March or April. Anyone facing such long delays?

I had no heads up at all when my GV80 arrived. I happened to be driving into the dealership parking lot and spotted my Gold Coast Silver with Prestige Package. I went there to show my wife up front and close the GV80 without any idea mine showed up that morning. The salesperson was too busy with customers and only found out a few hours earlier but didn't have time to call me yet. Long story made short, yours may show up unexpectedly too.
