How do you like it
Actually, you still get the full Genesis service/maintainance. I don't care who sells me the Genesis as long as they get me the color/trim I want at the price I'm willing to pay. At this point. I'm going to hold out for the MY2022 GV80 with the 6- seater. Haven't been able to find one right now in the color/trim I want. And I'm not going to spend that kind of money and not get what I want. Dealers keep stocking all this monochromatic grays with black interiors. You chose the best color. Cardiff Green.I am looking forward to taking delivery of my Cardiff Green GV80 Prestige in early August but my complaint is dealing with salespeople who sell Sonatas and Santa Fes all day long. Genesis really needs to break out and get stand alone dealerships where folks understand you are spending quite a bit of money and expect quite a bit of service.
Are we sure that the US will get the 6 seater GV80. That article was for the Korean market 2022 year, but we all know that there was a lot of stuff they got that we didn't in the US. Plus they started with the 2020 year model we didn't get one until 2021 so it's possible that we won't see a 6 seater if we do until the 2023 model year. The photos though remind me more of the GV90 appointments as those types of second rows are in the G90 but not the G80. I'd love to see the US market get the 6 seater but wonder if we ever will and if we do will it be the same as shown in those photos or a more simple center console or no console between the back seats. It's really too early to tell until they release what the 2022 model for the US will be and so far there's no release of what changes it will have or when it will come at all. Since the 2021 model didn't release in the US until very late November 2020 it might still be a while before the 2022 comes out here.Actually, you still get the full Genesis service/maintainance. I own a GV80 I think the ride is great but it felt a little bouncy. I changed the electronic suspension to sport and it tightened up the ride. I love the difference it made with that simple setting change. I get more compliments on this car than any other car I have owned. I have owned BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Acura, I have never seen this type of response.Post the details of your Genesis GV80 in the list here. When you take delivery of your GV80, post an update here.

Hello! I just purchased my GV80 3.5TT Prestige today from dealer stock in Troy, MI. I was not in a position to wait several weeks for a new car, so I didn't get to choose my colors. I was just lucky they had a single car available to purchase. So it is Himalayan Gray with a Black interior. But it is still gorgeous.I just noticed a bunch of new signups on this list. If you've added your info, be sure to say hi!
I drove a lot of midsize crossovers, both standard and luxury, but wasn't all that impressed with any of them. I wanted to drive the 2022 Acura MDX, but couldn't find one even to test drive anywhere near me. So the final decision was between the GV70 and the GV80.Welcome @TLM!
What other vehicles did you consider getting before going with the GV80?

You'll love it! Wishing you blessings in a speedy delivery, and safety and smooth operations for the life of the vehicle.I’m new here. Just put a deposit on a silver GV80 Prestige. Due to arrive October 5th. I wanted white exterior but it was a deal breaker to only have two interior color options. Tell me I won’t regret it. Overall, I’m very excited about the car. I’m replacing a 2007 Lexus LX, aka “the bus” 😉
LOL - the trade in value they offered me was $7k under what we sold it for privately. I expect them to make a little money - but come on now!Put down deposit on the last remaining '21 Genesis GV80 3.5L Advanced+ AWD within a 100 mile radius 3 days ago. Himalayan Gray.
Since it was a 'spur of the moment' decision, and I was 75 miles from home, I didn't have a check, not enough funds in account, and no title in hand. Also, the trade in value for my '11 Lincoln MKT was atrocious!
Sold the Lincoln yesterday for $3300 more than trade value.
Appointment setup for 3 days from now to pick up. Can't wait!!
Thank You for this info! I just picked mine up last week and the ride wasn't hard but it wasn't exactly soft like most have been saying it is. I thought it was because I have the Prestige with 22" rims. I will check this wen I get home! Please don't forget to check your tire pressures. Apparently many dealerships, mine included, fail to lower the tire psi to recommended pressures from high shipping pressures. 33F 36R should be your settings.
Luckily, I discovered mine on day 2, but after driving almost 100 miles on over inflated tires.
I picked mine up last week and after seeing this thread checked the tire pressure and the dealer delivered mine overinflated at 47psi rather than recommended 33psi in front and 36psi rear. Also learned from this that overinflation will not generate a warning from the TPMS. Check your tire pressure upon deliveryThank You for this info! I got this same color too with Dune interior! Excited! Just ordered off the lot in Richmond, CA. Coming in tomorrow.Greetings from the northern part of the Pacific NW. Savile Silver Advanced 3.5 got delivery on the 21st. So far, quite impressed. Traded in our Porsche Macan S, which was great, but cramped, and maintenance costs were mind boggling.
