Some GV80 test vehicles were in for servicing at a Hyundai dealership recently and one of them shows nearly 70,000 miles (67,706 to be exact) on the odometer! Chances are the other one in the background does as well and several others that Genesis has driving around doing hot weather testing.

Now that is some serious driving. I wonder how many more miles they'll put on before testing is over. I don't know about the technical parts, but the interior seems to be holding up nicely.

I have followed a number of new vehicle launches in the past and learned that its common for automakers to have nearly hundreds of these testers around the world racking up a million miles combined. So odds are that's what Genesis is doing as well.

that makes sense, so it's probably safe to say that these testers will have over 100,000 miles when it's all said and done.

Oh I think they'll have way over 100,000 miles when it's all said and done. Probably closer to 200,000 miles.

I’m grateful for testing & modifying, all I ask is for honesty as to when they actually foresee people able to purchase and take one home.
