Anyone else have trouble finding a dealership to service their car? I was told by one Genesis dealer in my local (Sacramento) area that I needed to contact one particular dealership (Genesis of Roseville) to get my car serviced.
I called that dealership, spoke to a Rep who told me a service tech would call me back. Two days later, no callback. So I called again, and a different Rep told me they’re not taking reservations because they are TOO BUSY. So four local dealerships sell Genesis, but only one services them, and that one is too busy to take my car in the foreseeable future. If my car were to break down, would it just sit as 4800 lb of useless metal ? I’ve owned Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Ford, Lexus, Infiniti, Porsche, BMW and Mercedes and have never experienced such poor service. What good is a 4yr/100K warranty if no one can even service the car?

Also, I recently moved from TX to CA, and there seems to be no way of telling the Genesis App my new location. I search for service, and am told that none is available. Seems like quite a bit for this ‘aspiring’ luxury brand to sort out.

If you go to the web page for your "My Genesis" or what ever they call it, you can change the dealer there and it should reflect in you phone app.
I am a bit worried about service as I did not buy mine at the closest dealer and where I did get it is over an hour drive, which seems to be their cutoff for the valet service.

@BenT I have had no luck getting any response from Genesis of Sacramento (which I understand is now defunct since they would not commit a space to Genesis only customers), Folsom or Roseville. I had emailed and left messages and never got a call back. I too am worried that when I need my first service that I am going to run into this as well. I am hoping that I will not have to drive to Dublin where I bought the car in the first place.

@jrbroumas, thank you, I’ve been able to change the dealership in owners.genesis.com, and that will allow me to try to service my car at other dealerships.

@JJL256, I think we’ve run into similar difficulties. Folsom and Roseville seem to have discontinued valet service (I’m much less than an hour drive…they just don’t do it, period). They don’t even offer loan cars, my options were to have a friend drop me off, wait at the Hyundai dealership or take the shuttle! Ugh. I’d also have to schedule over a month in advance. Dublin does offer valet, but they’re too far away (so it’s not offered to me), and they’re only scheduling 2 months in advance,Good thing I don’t have an urgent issue. I’ve asked for follow up twice from Roseville, and never got a call back...once they even opened a Severity 1 Highest Priority ticket, and still never called back. I wrote to US National Genesis, they promised me callback in 5 days. They also never called me back, yet had the gall to send me a request for feedback, a ‘how did we do?’. .I must say getting my Genesis serviced in the Sacramento area has been the worst dealership experience ever. I did not know such embarrassingly poor customer service existed in the US until I bought my 2021 Genesis GV80. I’ll be letting JD Power and Consumer Reports when they send out their surveys
