minimizing pressure points is part of the whole smart posture thing. Getting you curled up more takes pressure off the tailbone. I didn't like it at first but after a couple of hours in my "normal" seat position my butt was hurting and I tried it and found it much more comfortable for the remaining 1.5 hrs. FwiwYes, I used the smart posture seat system and at first i didn't like the position. But i tried it for a while and I am starting to really like it. The seat seems to be more comfortable when using the suggested smart posture. I noticed that the bottom is still a bit hard, but it doesn't hurt as much as before - however, I think maybe I am either breaking it in more, or getting used to it?
