I'm really satisfied with my GV80. That being said the buying experience was more of what you expect when purchasing an economy car, not a $72,000 vehicle. I don't blame the salesperson as she's been trained to sell Hyundais not Genesis. I really felt like as soon as the paperwork was signed she wanted me out the door so she could move onto new business with the next customer.
I'm impressed with Genesis vehicles but they need their own dedicated showrooms, service centers and salespeople if they want to compete with other premium brands.

I agree that the salespeople are not trained for luxury car delivery. My guy was fine, but I think I knew more about the car than he did. When I went to pick up my GV80 Prestige, they did have a guy who shows all the options. I asked in advance for a demonstration of the self parallel parking feature (from outside the vehicle). That stumped him a bit, but eventually we figured it out. No way would I try that on the street without first practicing at the dealer.

Also, my dealer in Massachusetts told me he had sold more than half his allotment to out-of-staters. Just a note to those of you who are still waiting. May want to broaden your search and have them transport it.
