Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum. I ordered a 2022 GV60 on Nov 23rd and my web page has no information on when I might get it - for weeks now it just says the web site page with order details is being updated and try again later. This seems strange, should I be concerned ? My PA says it will be delivered in July.

I ordered a GV60 Sport in January 2023, my PA told me it would be delivered at end of June or early July. My account on the Genesis UK website went from confirmed to ordered on 17th February 2023. The PA told me not to rely on this information too much as it is always way behind reality and apparently the PA's can log on to live information, so they are the best source. I am afraid I am a little sceptical about this, as the thing that pushed me toward a Genesis order was the fact that I ordered a Kia EV6 GTLS in January 2022 but in January 2023 Kia UK could not even give me a proposed build date for the car. They said, and I quote, "we would like to think that the unit will be delivered to you some time between February 2023 and December 2023, although Kia UK are fundamentally a marketing orgainsation and have no influence over production in our parent company in South Korea". I took this as meaning, "we haven't go a clue", and cancelled my order there and then. I ordered the GV60 the following day. I have to say that the whole attitude of the Genesis staff has been in marked contrast to that of Kia (both the franchised dealer and Kia UK), for the better. So......... we live in hope!

I have had my car since September last year and the website still says that it is in "Delivery Preparation". That should sum up how reliable the website updates are. Use the PA to keep you updated on anything. I didn't always get a quick reply (they spend a lot of their time on the road doing the delivery training sessions) but my PA always got back to me and gave me the info that I needed.

Wow,…do you have to wait 7 months to get this car?…..my wife only had to wait 2 months to get a Macan S…and 0 markup….incredible…. I was trying to convince her to get a GV70 since I liked the car, but the dealer insisted on adding a markup….thanks God he did!!!….now I am glad I could not convince her after reading about the dismal service here in the forum, the problems with the rear differential, waiting months to get the parts, Hyundai mechanics having no clue as how to repair the car….etc etc etc….🙁🙁🙁….I though they would be as reliable as Japanese cars…maybe in the future they will if they get at least their own dealerships…the Hyundai dealer where we went to test the GV70 was…. Terrible!!!!!….not a luxury experience at all.
I hope that Hyundai will spend more $$ in training the technicians and building dealerships , not just in adds about how luxurious and special these vehicles are..these cars deserve it in my opinion.

Hi Kannassee,
Here in the UK it is quite normal to have to wait a year or more for an electric car, demand is far greater than supply. Genesis are selling here only via the internet. They plan to handle service and repairs themselves, we shall see.....................
