My bread clip needs resetting every few days. I'm thinking of pulling the switch out to short it permanently.Start/stop 'feature' is a royal PIA, saves nothing, and clunks when starts back up. I've disabled it with the bread loaf closure tab, as has many others!
Please let us (me) know if you do and how you did it. That "feature" is the absolute worst, I have become accustomed to pressing the button immediately upon starting the vehicle, but those rare times I forget and the car jerks before moving are terrifying because what if I need to get out of the way immediately... nope, gotta wait for this dumb $hit to start back up..... thanks in advance for the info. 😊My bread clip needs resetting every few days. What stop/start feature our people talking about? I feel like I'm missing the point. However, as the notifications, I totally agree with you. I already have enough digital crap telling me stuff, I DON'T my car to tell me things I didn't ask it to know, and yes, it doesn't know if I'm with the car or not. I"m hoping there's a way to disable some of this, but I've not got around to trying to figure it out.Definitely the stop/start feature and the calendar feature has several issues. I get notifications that I am late when the appointment is the next day and I am at the exact location where the appointment is scheduled. It also randomly will seek to different co-workers calendar. Seems like these bugs could easily be fixed.
I too don't know what they're referring to with start/stop. I have no use for facial recognition, but I find the proximity hatch switch very useful. I use it frequently.Embarrassed to say I don’t know what the start/stop feature is. I find both the facial recognition and proximity hatch back open feature useless. In half the time either is activated I can have already opened the door. Might just be a personal preference. I don’t find carrying the key fob an inconvenience so would never travel without it.
Embarrassed to say I don’t know what the start/stop feature is.......
The "feature" that shuts the engine off when you are at a full stop, and restarts when you with to go again. There is a push button lower left dash, by your left knee, that defeats it.I too don't know what they're referring to with start/stop. ......
Is that possible something only the performance has? I think i would have noticed such a button? The "feature" that shuts the engine off when you are at a full stop, and restarts when you with to go again. There is a push button lower left dash, by your left knee, that defeats it.
It's called "Idle Stop & Go"Is that possible something only the performance has? I think i would have noticed such a button?
NO! I have the Advanced also. It is in the panel just above what you describe, Look at the diagram I posted above again. This button you speak of: is it on the panel wit the trunk opener. In my advanced model, there's a blank space between two other things. My guess is that the performance model has that blank space filled in with the button you describe.
Before I totally give up on you out of exasperation, WHAT is in the panel just above the one you constantly refer to?Mine has a blank spot where there COUD be another control. Mine does not have the button you describe. Maybe they ran out of chips.
