So if USB for navigation update is ready, when do you plug it into the vehicle? Before starting? After starting but before selecting 'update'? After selecting update? Does the car need to be running or just turn on ignition? Thanks!

Thanks but I've reviewed that and surprisingly it doesn't answer the question. History shows no update since last fall so I probably just shouldn't bother on a new vehicle (nned to find the build date though).

I don't think there has been any map/navigation update since the fall. I have a 2023 GV70 and I can either use a USB to update the system or use Over the Air update. I did have to have Genesis USA walk me through enabling that in the car.

Is there a Navi update for the GV80 and if so how does it work or does dealer need to do it?
