Welcome to the forum @Abalgir. Do you have a photo of your screen that you can share? What else is on the screen? I don't have an android phone so I haven't experienced this.
Why on GV80 Android Auto uses 1/4 of the screen whereas Apple iCar uses the full screen

Hi Kurt,
You will notice that the map app takes only part of the screen. Next to it, there is always a logo for the Android Auto that you can't remove.
With apple you can occupy the full screen with the map, Android, this is the maximum

Yep, I saw that just after I posted
Updated the car, at least I can see media playing instead of that static AA image. Cannot figure out if I can make widescreen map, looks like its three fixed size panes.
I have managed to utilize 75% of the screen in my GV70 using the AA wireless adapter from Carlinkit.
Im satisfied however, the screen looks a little bit stretched but it is fine.

The latest Android Auto rollout (Coolwalk) now supports native full screen w/o stretching. Requires no head unit update (server side enablement from what I have read if you are at latest AA on your phone).
