Would you be interested in the GV70 if it were a rear wheel drive platform with the option of a AWD driveline? I would, but would want a e-locker rear diff.
How about a EV70 without any ICE components at all? This vehicle's styling with a dual motor AWD, or single motor front wheel drive would be an interesting alternative to the offering we now have and without a doubt it would make for the best looking EV among the other EV offerings. You know an all electric model is coming sooner or later, when is the only question.

Being in Northern Vermont, I've never considered RWD, so if I got a gv70 RWD for free, I'd trade it in for awd.

Just hope for a PTU with a drain plug!

Thats way beyond my scope! Never heard of that till just now.

In the not too long ago past some auto manufacturers were putting AWD systems in vehicles and did not provide a way to service them.(no drain port for the PTU) There is very little lube in these units and it needs to be changed out at least @ 50K and sooner is better. If the unit is designed to be non-serviceable it will fail and is very expensive to replace as you can imagine.

I am not that familiar with the Hyundai corporate design philosophy regarding their approach to the PTU design in all of their other corporate AWD platforms. I would suspect if the drain plug is a design choice in their other AWD vehicles it should be present in the Genesis vehicles as well, but it would be good to know that for sure.
